IFRS for Everyone - From Students to Professionals

July 4, 2026

I really liked that this book moves its focus from theoretical concepts to applying them to solve real business problems. This serves a broad audience, from students to professionals, and gives student learners a great opportunity to prepare for professional qualifications and the job market. The mix of professional accountants and academics in the author group reflects this strength.

The “Financial Reporting in Perspective” section at the end of each chapter is an excellent addition, helping students see how these topics apply in the real world. I also liked that the examples are contextualized for Bangladesh, making it especially suitable for students studying there — something missing from most international accounting textbooks.

IFRS is an ever-evolving space, and as the latest textbook in this area, it captures the most recent developments in accounting standards. I strongly recommend this book for accounting learners at every level, from early-year students to experienced professionals and academics.
